Since 2006, Saint-Gobain and Rolaco for Trading and Contracting have established a solid JV partnership to produce mortars and admixture products with two production facilities in Jeddah and Riyadh. This partnership has helped Saint-Gobain develop a strong presence in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
In 2020, the JV of Saint-Gobain and Rolaco has acquired SAUDI SERPO Co. Originally established in 1981 by ALISSA Group and Scanbetong Sweden, SAUDI SERPO Co. has a leading position in KSA Central Region. The company produces acrylic façade solutions and a number of tile fixing and special mortars for laying lightweight blocks.
On a surface of 16 000 m2, the SAUDI SERPO Co. production facilities has been fully renovated and upgraded with new technology enabling the company to increase its production capacity and widen the range of product offered to include solutions in mortars, admixtures, and façade as well as epoxy based products.
On August 12, 2021, the newly renovated premises were inaugurated by Mohieddin EL HASHASH Saint-Gobain KSA CEO and Ibrahim MADI Rolaco group CFO.
